Stanford offers Online High School for gifted students: Stanford University will establish an online high school for gifted students that will begin admitting students this fall, thanks to a $3.3 million gift from cable television billionaire John Malone. The Online High School will be a three-year, fully accredited diploma-granting high school, according to Raymond Ravaglia, the deputy director of Stanford’s Education Program for Gifted Youth, which is developing the school.

First virtual high school for the gifted.
