  1. This is very cool. A large university in North Carolina is now distributing iPods to students and using them as part of the education process. Besides making me wish i was an 18 year old freshman again, it’s great to see these types of functional applications going on and from a self serving perspective, budding opportunities for content development. Retention rates for interactive learning have been proven to be higher than any other form of learning so these early-adopters are getting an added bonus - students that are more smarter-er!

  2. I was reading recently that AIU Online is now using podcasts as an integral part of their education program. AIU Online’s president was quoted as saying that he sees it as enhancement of the learning process.

    I could not agree more. I only wish I had that when I was going through my MBA. With Boston College jumping on board, it may become the norm.
